With its beautiful volumes, ideal layout and a rounded salon typical of First Empire architecture, this Prestige Suite brims with charm.
Its carefully stocked library is a central feature of the living room, while little-known photographs of the famed journalist and correspondent give the space true cachet.
As the celebrated author and liberator of Paris wrote, "When I dream of an afterlife in heaven, the action always takes place at the Ritz Paris."
A salon typical of literary Paris benefits from an added touch thanks to its cozy, rounded shape, and a terrace overlooking the Grand Jardin. A picture-perfect setting imbued with serenity for finding inspiration and calm, right in the heart of Paris. This is also the only private space that pays tribute to the Hemingway Bar – a place of pilgrimage for cocktail lovers.
The Ritz is Paris
Ernest Hemingway, who was such a regular that he inspired the name for the most beloved and respected bar in the world today, did not just drink 51 Dry Martinis in a row upon the Liberation of Paris, he stored – and forgot for years - treasures in the basement of the Ritz Paris.
Among these were writings from his early years in the French capital, which he rediscovered in old trunks. And which became the posthumously-published memoir, A Moveable Feast.
